A COVID-19 Reopening of the Recreational Marine Industry has been developed by Government, British Marine, RYA & Navigation Authorities.
This is subject to the general lifting of Covid-19 restrictions, for Private Boat Owners access to & use of their boats will be allowed from 8th March, but subject to the following dates & Covid-19 restrictions below:
29th March
- Private boats for recreation (1 household for indoor boats & 6 people / 2 households for outdoor boats)
- Minimise travel (stay at home rules lifted).
- Overnight stays should not take place.
No earlier than 12th April
- Same as 8th & 29th March - PLUS
- plus guidance against overnight stays lifted (single household bubble only)
- Minimise travel
No earlier than the 17th May
- Same as earlier but for 6 people / 2 households for indoor boats,
- Max. 30 for outdoor boats.
- Minimise travel
No earlier than 21st June
- No restrictions. (Subject to review).
